How low will she go?

Good morning. Just put in a Boston Butt in my IW885. It's -2 this morning in MN. My first real cold weather cook. My 885 came up to temp like normal. My question is what is the ambient temp range of a 885? Also was there a recent app update, because my iphone app no longer sends temp notifications. Still have full control via app.

Good morning. I couldn't be more impressed with my 885. The Boston butt was the best ever (according to my daughter) and didn't have to worry about it when I left the house. Unlike my old SmokeFire. First time using the stay warm issue and kept an eye on pellet level. Someone on this forum told me about the interaction with the Apple watch. My family bought me a watch for my birthday and notifications work great.

Coldest I've fired up and smoked in was -39c with the wind last winter. We've been lucky with a warm winter so far but I can attest that the Ironwood can handle cold without issue.
