Help! HELP! Lid fell back and now won’t close all the way!

Why did this happen and what do I do. The grill (Pro22) is less than 3 months old!

Because it bent itself??? so bend it back.
a PIC would be nice to get the best advice

Yes the lever that holds it bent on its own. I did bend it back but now it won’t close all the way. I asked because I wanted to know if this was a common problem. A picture would do no good as it looks normal.

did you bend the lever and it's now hitting something inside keeping the lid from closing, or did your lid get bent out of round and now won't match the grill???

I think the lid is bent.

I didn’t originally bed it, I fell back twice and the second time it wouldn’t close all the way. I’m thinking it’s bent at the hinge.

That's probably where it occurred unfortunately... you can try to call Traeger for a lid replacement
