Anyone ever do smoked grits???

Really? Nobody has done this? Hmmmm guess I'm gonna be the first then. I'm gonna wait til it gets a little warmer outside though. I don't wanna freeze my grits off!!🤪

Grits seem like a challenge in a smoker because of the need to have boiling water and stirring. But.... here's a thought.... cold-smoke the dry grits and then add the water and prepare normally. I'd suggest cold-smoking with a smoker tube instead of firing up the grill. Next time I cold-smoke some cheese I'll add some grits.

Now there's an idea!
