Loaded up my Traeger Pro 34 and drove 6 hours to meet my extended family for Thanksgiving. I decided to deep fry this year, and it turned out to be the right choice. On the day after Thanksgiving, I set up my Traeger to make some burgers, only to discover that my induction fan had crapped out. I guess I sort of expected a $700 grill to last longer than 1 year. What is Traeger’s policy on replacing broken components? Am I out of luck since I’ve owned the grill for a year? (I think about 14 months).

This is NOT a Traeger sponsored forum, but Traeger grills have a 3 year warranty and they are pretty good at sending out replacement parts.

I recommend heading out to their FaceBook site and posting a message with your issues. They have been pretty responsive there. Be sure to have your model # and serial #, date of purchase and place of purchase ready for them.

Deep fried turkey is awesome, just a lot peanut oil used for one time though. I used to fry loads of them for a Scout fundraiser.

If like me you don’t have Facebook just use their text to chat option on their webpage. They are super helpful through it and you can send them pictures if needed
