Problem:
After two years of flawless operation, I went to fire up my Traeger the other day, but the WiFIRE controller/display would not turn on. The power switch and power supply lights were coming on, but the controller would not work or show anything in the display.

Even though the toggle switch would light up when turned on, the switch had failed.

Resolution:
Replaced the power toggle switch and the grill fired up with no issue. There was no problem with the controller.

I am glad your troubleshooting skills were up to the task., Some might not have figured it out so quickly. I have seen numerous reports of the lighted toggle/rocker switch failing. Fortunately, it is an easy and inexpensive replacement.
