Nice. So how do you like it?
So far it’s been great. Plugged in, connected to network and within 5 minutes it updated the software. Temperature is within 5 degrees. Much quitter than the first gen Timberline I had.

9 hours of super smoke at 225. We’ve hit the stall. Time to wrap with butcher paper.

Has everyone's 650 been updated to v 01.01.02 yet? Mine just did this afternoon.

Finished results and thoughts.
9lb shoulder took 19.5 hours to reach 202. Longest cook time I’ve ever experienced on that size shoulder. 12 hours at 225 . Remainder at 245. Had my Maverick thermometer measuring the pit and the IT of the shoulder as well as the Traeger’s. Pit temp measured the same on both. The meat probs were within 2 degrees of one another. Seemed more Smoke was produced when not in super smoke mode.
Shoulder was moist and delicious. Very light smoke profile.

Looks like it came out perfectly.

My 650 upgraded to 01.01.02 yesterday.

I've been out of town all week, but I'll find out tomorrow. Glad to hear the update is rolling out for the Ironwoods as well.
