New FireBoard for a gift...plugged it into the Prime Rib and now it shows how far off my Traeger grill temp setting is from the actual temp!

Love it..my grill set temp is off +10-12 and the probe is also off 15 degrees...my MK4 differs from this also but only a couple degrees

Traeger probe is good for a range point ie “hey pay attention here” however I use the. FireBoard for Wrap at 163 and Pull at 203....

Used one probe at near each end, one in the middle and one for ambient inside the grill. Watched progress of all four simultaneously on computer browser with football on the TV.

Pretty sure John S. isn't cooking a Prime Rib. If he is, I'm not eating there!

I was afraid that it was a Chinese knock-off, but sold by FireBoard Labs..Looks legit!
Wonder if they have the probes on Amazon…
