FAN ALWAYS RUNNING

I was wondering if everyone's fan always runs mine rarely shutdown or slows down!! No big deal just thought it would modulate a bit.

That's how the Traeger produces heat. The fan shouldn't shut down until the end of a shutdown cycle to my knowledge.

Well it does that but it use to modulate. And when at or close to set point it would slow way down and maintain temp. Maybe my ambient conditions.
Like i said no big deal just learning the in's and outs since the new controller and updated firmware.
I do like 500 degrees for searing.

It is part of the convection heat distribution process. Convection is why the grill always cooks so evenly.

But does it speed modulate?
I guess that is my real question.
I believe it use to.

One mine the fan speed does modulate, unless it is in start up or shut down mode, then it is full speed.
