Hello, just used my Traeger Pro 575 yesterday and though fluctuations in temps routinely occured, it was still a great experience... Question; has anyone cooked using cast iron grate for all cooking needs and how did that work? Also, does anyone know if there’s a two piece all cast iron grate set or two piece all porcelain grates? I’m looking for easy clean up and one piece is too big!

I have the Pro 22 and swapped out the porcelain one piece for 2 cast iron grates. Clean up is great and have noticed the temp is running slightly higher inside vs the porcelain grates the grill came with. Got them at grillparts.com

Take a look at “grill grates”, for a Tl-1300 it came in 3 pieces...
easy clean up came with a brush and a spatula.. (you can turn them over and they become a griddle).
‘for the pro 22

The grill grates are very good but the clean up is brutal. They should include the special cleaning brush with each order.

I totally agree about the Grill Grates. They let me get a great sear when I'm doing steak or chicken but they're easy to take off if I want to use indirect heat for a brisket. Give them a try - I think you'll like them.

On my order they included a brush and a spatula that fits between the slots on the grate...
