I have had a controller issue and caught fire because it kept feeding pellets until I unplugged it. Replaced with after-market part, lasted two weeks and quit, had the same problem, overheating and stopped. Replaced the thermocouple still had problems.

What else can/could be done?

Are there any reliable parts for replacement?

Same issues here I think and we are not alone. I replaced controller, sent by Traeger. No luck. The grill started up fine but then stopped and an error code appears. When u restart the igniter comes back on and ignites the pellets that piled up in the tinder box - the result? Lots of smoke and then flames - sometimes preceded by an explosion.

- I have been asking Treager to help me correct the issue with candid honest advice since 2016 (post-buyout). Only got the run around (isn't the new ceo a former tennis shoe salesman?)

My Pro Series sucked in 2016 and still sucks in 2020. Im looking at new Weber.

I am uncertain if I should try another board or an aftermarket product, or just toss it.
