Cold Smoking

I've seen mods or at least what look like mods on older smokers that allow for cold smoking. Does anyone know of a mod to do this on a Pro 34?

I have this ladle holder form iKea its metal and has holes all over it. Saw one at Walmart for 3 bucks days ago. I rolled up some news paper and poured a cup of pellets over it .then lit it with a match. Placed it on my pro22 in the corner. and it smoked for well over 2 hrs. I tried making some smoked sharp cheddar. I honestly think 1 hr would have been fine. I did have a little bit of a flame problem on hr 2 but the cheese was fine and smokey and I think that works well for my first attempt
