Brisket, cut and cook or cook then cut?

I am going to do a Brisket but it will be too much for my family. I was thinking of cutting it in half and freezing one half for cooking later or could cook the whole thing and freeze the left-overs. I am thinking cooking the whole thing in one piece is probably the best approach.

Suggestions?

Leftover brisket is good for so many things. Brisket chili, brisket nachos. I made brisket spaghetti sauce one time. It was great
