So every time I cook at 225 I end up with a fire. I end up with a flame out, pot overflowing with pellets, then it reignites and poof big smoke and big fire. Think it's controller or igniter rod at fault?
This should not happen. I had one from Costco that had the same issues at Smoke and other low temps. I took it back and the replacement has worked great for a couple years so far.
It's most likely a setting (internal) in the controller or a bad controller in my experience. It should be preset properly from the factory.
