Amazon has a sale on Alpha Grillers instant read Thermometers, 1/2 off. [$9.99 plus tax and shipping] I received mine today and am very pleased. They have a lifetime warranty and an extra battery comes with it. I have been using an old stick in thermometer and decided to upgrade. Worth checking out.
