Hi I have a new pro 34 I set my temp at 180 for my ribs and small brisket it keeps going up on it’s own to 208 have to open the lid to bring it back down and help with this?

I have not used a smoker in almost 20 years a friend of ours convinced us to take the leap so we did. Just bout a pro 34 last weekend will start using it this weekend now that i have everything to get started. I am glade i found this site so i can learn how to cook with the best!!
