OK, so there is VERY little that you can set with the Traeger PID controller. One setting I really like on the Stoker PID is the ignitor off temperature. I set it to 20 degrees under my cook temperature to make sure I do not get a flame out condition especially in the cold winter months. Also...
Is there a user guide for the D2 controller that shows all of the setting adjustments that can be made to control the grill? I am use to the Savannah Stoker PID controller on my Texas Treager and all of the fine tunning adjustments it offers.

Thanks, no way would I do the Timberline solution! Looking for a much easier solution. Guess I will have to research other pellet grills to find a replacement for my 9 year Texas grill With the PID controller (aftermarket).
